Black Lives Matter Media created this website and associated page and site as a platform to get our stories out to as many people as we possibly can to expose racism, bigotry and injustice in the media in the hope that people around the world and in our own country will take notice of the treatment we endure daily and get behind the movement to change this so that some day our children will live in a world where everyone is treated equally. We put every spare dollar we have into paid ads on Facebook to boost the most shocking stories like when innocent people are gunned down purely because of the color of their skin or a child is bullied at school or becomes the victim of a hate crime and has their right to an education stolen to places and parts of the world that usually would not hear about it. We also want to make it very clear that we are not controlled or funded by any other part of the movement and we rely on help from our readers and supporters. We are not bankrolled by George Soros, Ford Foundation, Celebrities or Anyone famous for that matter. We suffer here for that because people think we are part of an organisation. Black Lives Matter is a statement about raising awareness and it belongs to everyone who is willing to support the cause proactively to end racism. We are proud of what we have built, Black Lives Matter is a movement powered by the people for the people. We would rather work hard and struggle than be owned and controlled by corporations and people who have interests other than exposing and ending racism, police brutality, Bigotry and hate crimes. We also promote a progressive, inclusive and peaceful approach, because we can't end hate and violence with hate and violence. We need to stand up, speak out, educate and build support until racisim isn't acceptable in any part of society. Our mission here is to share the news that mainstream media play down or hide and also personal stories that never get seen or heard that our readers have been filming or writing us about. Thank you for being part of the movement and supporting our efforts here to make it a movement for change.
